ScienceSouth coming to Cheraw Intermediate

ScienceSouth is coming to Cheraw Intermediate School
Chesterfield General Hospital has donated $4,200.00 to CIS to augment its science program.  This money has been designated to fund 12 days of highly engaging, hands-on standard based science workshops.
Students in each grade level will participate in two of the learning activities.  “I am so excited that Chesterfield General Hospital has afforded my students the opportunity to experience science instruction and discovery in a science lab environment,” Principal Scott Eddins says. “The students will be learning about topics ranging from animals and soil to the properties of light and the effects of pollution.”
ScienceSouth is a non-profit educational organization located in Florence.
