ATTENTION:

Over the summer, CCSD is going to begin working with a new and different web page group.  We will  work to keep a webpage up for the rest of the summer and early fall until the district gets the new company in place.  Please bear with us during all the changes and we will try to make sure that important information is available on the webpage until we can get the new one up and running.

       From the Administration:

New Heights Middle---Educating the student in the Middle

New Heights Middle--Where Dreams Become Reality

As you enter the halls of this school, it is the hope of the leadership and each staff member that you feel a sense of community and belonging.  While our primary focus is to educate young minds, we are constantly made aware of the need to address the needs of the whole person.  Our dedicated counselor, Rhonda Cole, our involved Parent Educator, Marilyn McFarlan, and our outstanding Career Specialist, Karen Brock, do a terrific job of providing the tools for our students to excel in their particular areas of interest.  Part of our mission statement states the following:  "Positive relationships and respect for self, others, and their environment enhances the students’ self esteem."  Join us in the quest to unlock new doors for the 600+ students who enter here each day with dreams of their own.

Larry Stinson,  Principal

Students and parents need to remember our dress code and students need to remember to wear their ID Badges.  This is an important safety issue as well as a way to identify yourself in the Media Center and the cafeteria.
