Book Fair
McBee Elementary will hold a Scholastic Book Fair in January.
The book fair will open Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007
and close Monday, Feb. 5, 2007.
The book fair will be open Tuesday, January 30, 2007 from 3:00 until 5:30.

Voting for Children's Book Award
Voting for Junior Book Award
There will be a voting party in the library Tuesday, Febuary 6, 2007.
Any student who passes at least three AR tests on
titles from the list of nominated books will receive
an invitation through Wee Deliver mail to attend the party
and vote for his or her favorite book from that list.
Refreshments will be provided.

Read-a-thon
December 2004
The read-a-thon was a great success. Twenty-five students attended the event. Each student collected pledges and then read for 240 minutes. Several high school students, Jamie Horton, Adair Haynes, Scotie Hoffman, and Casey Gainey, read to the students. After reading various Dr. Seuss books, the students participated in activities.
