Art
Advisor:

Art Club members will enjoy a variety of arts related activities including, but not limited to, painting, sculpture, drawing, art games, verbal critiques, and a trip to a "real live" art museum. Members will be allowed to choose some of the directions the club will take by majority vote. For instance, the students of the Art Club will be voting on various styles of artists to study and deciding upon which museum to visit. The mission of the Art Club will be to encourage and foster personal growth in participation and introduction to various artistic endeavors. I look forward to learning with you about the contemporary world of art around us.
Beads and Things Advisor: Mrs. Oakley and Mrs. M. Rayfield
Students will learn how to use a variety of materials to make jewelry they can wear and enjoy.
Board Games Advisor:
Members choose a board game or bring one of their own to play with other members and enjoy the camaraderie.

to Men Advisor:

This club is designed to help young men to make wise decisions regarding themselves and their environment. During this process, resource speakers from the community will come to meet and share their experiences with the group.
Campbell's Soup
Club Advisor:
Members handle collections and counting of Campbell's Labels for Education.
Card Club Advisor:
We will have cool coo-coo crazy card fun. You'll even learn the Swift Swappin' Switching Slappin card game.
Catalog Club Advisor: Mrs. Chapman
Come take a virtual shopping spree! Bring in your favorite clothing catalogs or magazines and see how much you can buy on each month's budget.
Chess
and Checkers Advisor:
Mr. Porter
Members learn winning strategies for these games, practicing development and use of higher order thinking skills.
Cooking
and Entertaining Advisor:
Mrs. Knowles
We will learn how to prepare food, how to set a table for buffet or party, and exchange entertaining tips. Also you will eat what you cook!
Clogging Advisor: Mrs. White
Students will first learn the basic steps of clogging. These steps will be incorporated into different routines that will be taught throughout the year.
Creative Craft Advisor: Mrs. Di. Hutson
This club is designed for students who want to be creative making crafts. Fee is $5.00.

Members have fun jumping rope while engaging in healthy exercise and teamwork.
Drama

Members learn to act dramatically and perform before an audience.

Environment Club Advisors:
This club is affiliated with the Clemson Extension office and usually involves a Clemson Extension agent. The students participate in hands-on activities concerning environmental studies and character education.

The purpose of this interdenominational Christian organization is to follow Christian practices in relationships and fellowship.
Floral
Arranging Advisor:
Members learn about flowers and how to decorate with them. They also learn to tie bows and arrange seasonal arrangements. Students will need to bring some of their own supplies.
Hunting
Advisor:
Mr. Adeimy
Members discuss topics such as safety, rules and regulations, sportsmanlike conduct, hunter ethics, hunter education, respect of the land, avoiding conflicts, hunter and landowner rights, etc.
Instrument
Repair/Maintenance Advisor:
Band students learn how to care properly for their musical instruments.
Literary
Magazine Advisor:
Students evaluate poetry and short stories to compile and produce a literary magazine.

Members bring their favorite teen magazines and discuss fashion, music, sports, advertisements, important teen issues, etc., as they relax and enjoy snacks.
Recycling
Club

This is a club in which members are responsible for collecting, packing and delivering recycled cans, paper, and plastic bottles to the recycling center. We will keep tract of our school's progress throughout the year.

Music and
Cross-Stitch Advisor:
Members bring a favorite CD and listen to music while learning to cross-stitch. CD's must be approved a week prior to the meeting.
Mindbenders Advisor: Mrs. Ballard
Students will participate in a variety of activities designed to promote creative thinking. They will solve mysteries, play games, and act out skits. Students will work in teams and as individuals to come up with creative solutions to problems.

Members learn to enjoy poetry through a variety of activities.
Read 'n Feed Advisor:
Mrs. King and Mrs. Sanders
This club features activities with books that will involve reading, discussing authors, decorations of books, games on books, and snacks.
~~ Science ~~ Advisors: Science Department Teachers
The science club meets the third Wednesday of each month, after school. The students participate in hands-on activities and anything that is observed by the South Carolina Junior Academy of Science. The dues paid by each member are used to pay S. C. Jr. Academy of Science dues and support the local club. All science department teachers (Garvin, Chapman, Ballard, Hutson, Sellers, Knowles, Adeimy, Brachna) are club advisors and conduct the activities at each meeting.
Set,
Chew, and Chat
Advisor: Miss Spears
Members learn the proper way to set a table for all occasions, how to prepare quick foods to eat, and correct etiquette, including proper dress. On at least one day each semester, students will be required to wear proper dress for formal dining.

Members will make such items as pillows, dolls, etc., and must furnish their own materials.
~~ Sports Jeopardy ~~ Advisor:
Students are placed on teams with one captain per team. The teams will give correct questions for Jeopardy-type answers. Each game has a Jeopardy, Double Jeopardy, and Final Jeopardy round.

~~ Street Law and Debate ~~ Advisor:
Students study laws and their effects upon each of them. Mock trials are sometimes held.
~~ Virtual Shopping ~~ Advisor:
Members of this club use catalogs and a specified amount of "money" in order to shop 'til they drop.
Volleyball

The basic volleyball rules and skills will be taught.
Walking/Fitness
Advisor: Mrs. Perry
Members take a brisk fitness walk during each meeting.
