My name is Richard
Ainsworth. I am the Director of Bands at Long Middle School in
Cheraw, SC. Prior to teaching in Cheraw, I taught for eight years
in Lake City, SC, three years at Ronald E. McNair Jr. High School and
five years at Lake City High School.
I am originally from Cheraw. I attended school in Cheraw throughout my early years and graduated from Cheraw High School in 1995. Following graduation, I attended the University of South Carolina where I earned a Bachelors of Music Education Degree. I graduated from USC in 1999. After graduation, I moved to Lake City. I am married to my lovely wife, Aleisha. Aleisha and I reside in Cheraw. Aleisha teaches at Cheraw Primary. We are the proud parents of our first son, Nathan Allen Ainsworth. Nathan was born on July 25, 2008. We are exited about being back in Cheraw. It's great to be back home with my family and friends. We look forward to giving back to the Cheraw Community. |
