| Our parent volunteers are outstanding; the last two years, Jefferson Elementary placed 1st and 2nd in our district competition. Parent volunteers assist in classrooms, plan parties, assist with field trips, monitor during testing, and volunteer for special activities the school may sponsor. The school has an open-door policy for parents. The parents are always welcome and encouraged to visit the school. parents also participate as mentors in our Bluejay buddies program. |
