I am Shane Robertson.  After graduating from Gaffney High School in 2001, I attended Limestone College where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music in the fall of 2006.  While I was at Limestone I studied piano with Dr. David B. Thompson and voice/conducting with Dr. Gena E. Poovey.  I was also involved in several theater productions such as ANNIE and Beauty and the Beast.  After graduation I attended The University of Montana where I earned my Master of Music Education degree.  During my residency at UM I studied Music Education with Dr. Mary Jane Belz and Organ with Dr. Nancy Cooper.  I am a member of the Music Educators National Conference (MENC) and the American Guild of Organists (AGO) where I hold the Service Playing Certificate.

This is my first year as a music teacher and my first year at Edwards.  I am thrilled to be here and getting to know all the wonderful people around me.  In addition to my duties here at Edwards I also go home every weekend to play the organ at my home church, Corinth Baptist Church.
