Jeanne Trexler

Biography: I am Jeanne
Trexler. I have been married for thirty one years and have three
children.
I graduated from the University of Greensboro of North Carolina with a
degree in Child Development and a certificate in Early Childhood
Education. I received a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood
Education from the University of South Carolina in 1994. I earned the
thirty hours above a master’s degree soon after. I have represented
Edwards Elementary School as Teacher of the Year, Reading Teacher of the
Year, and Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year.
Prior to teaching at Edwards, I taught second grade for three years in a
private school. I have had the privilege of teaching at Edwards
Elementary School since 1980. During this time, I taught second grade
for four years, a combination first and second grade for one year, and
first grade for twenty three years. I truly enjoy working with first
graders!
In my spare time, I enjoy attend sporting events at Chesterfield High
School. I am a member of the Chesterfield High School Booster Club and
support the athletics. GO RAMS!
As you can tell by walking into my classroom, I love books and enjoy
reading good literature!
