Jeanne Trexler

1st Grade Teacher

Room: 206

Biography:   I am Jeanne Trexler. I have been married for thirty one years and have three children.

I graduated from the University of Greensboro of North Carolina with a degree in Child Development and a certificate in Early Childhood Education. I received a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina in 1994. I earned the thirty hours above a master’s degree soon after. I have represented Edwards Elementary School as Teacher of the Year, Reading Teacher of the Year, and Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year.

Prior to teaching at Edwards, I taught second grade for three years in a private school. I have had the privilege of teaching at Edwards Elementary School since 1980. During this time, I taught second grade for four years, a combination first and second grade for one year, and first grade for twenty three years. I truly enjoy working with first graders!

In my spare time, I enjoy attend sporting events at Chesterfield High School. I am a member of the Chesterfield High School Booster Club and support the athletics. GO RAMS!
As you can tell by walking into my classroom, I love books and enjoy reading good literature!
