5th Grade Teacher

Biography:  I am Gretchen Barfield Trexler. I graduated from Newberry College with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I have taught in Chesterfield County for 12 years. I taught 6th grade at Cheraw Intermediate and Chesterfield Middle School for 7 years. I have been teaching 5th grade here at Edwards for 5 years.

My husband, Bryan, and I have two children, Dylan and Emma. Dylan is 3 and Emma is 2.

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, going to Carolina football games ("The game is ON!"), and being outdoors.
