Biography:  My name is Erin Byrd. I graduated from Cheraw High School in 1996. I then attended Winthrop University where I majored in Early Childhood Education. I graduated from Winthrop in May of 2000. After moving back to Cheraw I began to look for a teaching job. My teaching career began at Edwards Elementary where I have now been for eight years. In 2003 I graduated from Francis Marion University where I earned my Master’s Degree in Instructional Accommodations. Several years later I decided to go back to school again. In July 2007 I earned my 30 hours above my master’s degree from Francis Marion University in the area of Learning Disabilities.

I have been married to my husband Rodney Byrd for 6 and a half years. We have two beautiful boys. Logan is five years old and will be starting kindergarten in the Fall. Jackson is 9 months old and steadily learning new things about the world around him.
