Directions
From Florence
Take Hwy 52 from Florence to Cheraw (via
Darlington, Society Hill)
You will come into town on Hwy 1 and Hwy 52
(same road). The road bears to the right on to
Market Street (Hardee’s, Markette at
intersection). You bear right and go down 3
blocks to High Street and turn left (Catholic
Church on corner). Go 1 ½ blocks and the Primary
School will be on the left.
From Myrtle Beach
Take Hwy 501 from the Myrtle Beach area to
Marion. Take Hwy 501 by-pass around Marion
to Hwy 38.
Stay on Hwy 38 to Bennettsville.
As you enter Bennettsville, make a left turn at
McDonald’s
This is the Hwy 9 by-pass
(You should be able to follow the by pass
signs.)
Make a right turn at Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Make a left turn at Huddle House.
Stay on Hwy 9 to Cheraw (via Wallace and
crossing The Great Pee Dee River).
After crossing the river you will stay straight
through 2 traffic lights and 1 stop sign.
At the second stop sign turn right.
At the curve stay left.
After the curve you will take the second street
to the left (High Street).
The school is approx. 2 blocks on the left.
From Columbia
Take I-20 towards Florence. Take the
Historic Camden exit 98 (Highway 521) into
downtown Camden.
In the center of Camden you will make a right
turn onto Hwy 1.
You stay on Highway 1 to Cheraw (via the small
towns of Bethune, McBee and Patrick).
Once you reach Cheraw you will come into town on
Hwy 1 and Hwy 52 (same road). The road bears to
the right on to Market Street (Hardee’s,
Markette at intersection). You bear right and go
down 3 blocks to High Street and turn left
(Catholic Church on corner). Go 1½ blocks and
the Primary School will be on the left.
